Furnace renewal of Roches Noires factory
After 4 months of construction work, SEVAM has inaugurated its new furnace of the Roches Noires factory on November 6, 2018. A major investment established in the goal to add modern equipment and suitable for the environment.
The new furnace revamping, which has become indispensable, has led to increase productivity and reduce energy consumption.
As a reminder, the older installation is, the more it consumes and SEVAM as glassware local leader and corporate citizen had to set an example in terms of sustainable development concretely translated by a reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
The modernization of the industrial equipment has offered SEVAM a great opportunity to improve its competitiveness through a better quality and sharpness of glass tableware.
Henceforth, the furnace will last at least a decade before being renewed again.
